Check me out! I'm touching fish, like a lot... cleaning it (ok, it was already gutted, but I rinsed it!), scaling it, and not once did I dry heave!

Summer fun!

It's summertime and the kids are getting toasty brown spending a lot of time out on the waterslide. Here are some great shots of Mia and JB, with JB's friend Malcolm. At the end is a great demo video with a slip and slide lesson from Mia.

We hope all you Dads out there had a good weekend. We celebrated John on Saturday because he wanted an extended Father's Day to include M-F, but I said "noway!", and compromised by making it a weekend event.

Beach Soccer!

With so many teachers on the team, we have a great time during the summer. For the soccer tournament in Australia coming up in October (Master's Games), we try to find fun ways to train.

They've put together a league for men 40+, and they allow us older women of 35 and older to play with them. A lot of these men are in their mid 50's and higher! They rock! Here's youngin', Kyung, getting schooled. I got schooled quite a bit myself.

Sometimes it's hard just staying on your feet at this age, but they sure were kind to each other when they went down.
Our keeper is awesome so he deserved this little break here.

Mia told Gramma that she can't go back to Florida. I asked her tonight, "Mia. Where's Gramma going?"... she said "Home!"... I asked, "where's home?"... she said, "right here!" and pointed to the spot where she sat. Ai... she's gonna miss Gramma.

It hasn't hit John and I fully that we have a bird leaving the nest. She was beautiful tonight. I am so proud of Tiffany, and I hope you all are too.
