My team won their game today 5-0 AND I got to play everyone, yay! All is well. Just wanted to note this eventful day so that I can look back on it in the end for a progress report.
Scorers:
Andrea 2
Sandra 1
Nicole 1
Alex 1
Player of the match: Devin
Devin started out at the stopper position and helped the sweeper, Tana, keep everything out of our goal box. I had Alex and Summer up at top, but Summer was off on her touches and missed at least 3 opportunities to score. This is a game that we should have won and so I needed to add more fire to the offense. I also wanted to play the subs that didn't play in the first game. I put Hikari in for Summer, but had her push Devin up to forward while she played stopper. From the second that Devin moved up front, the ball stayed in our posesssion on their side of the field for the majority of the time she spent up there. She chased everything down, her touch was about 90%, and she created shooting opportunities with clean passes to her teammates.
I'm so proud of this team. They play with SO much heart.

OSB Wednesday Weigh-in (Yep, I'm back on that)!
Hey, OSBers! I weighed in this morning at 139.6, woo hooooo! Under 140, fiiiinally. I'm on my way to a fitter me. I'm eating very well lately, thanks to Big Daddy who has declared our home a healthy eating home! Go, Daddy! He has quit smoking, AND gone healthy. The entire household has benefited from that.
On the household front, we're doing fabulous. We're still busy with school and soccer. I coach my middle school team daily (Business hours daily, M-F). We had our first game on Tuesday, which we lost to our opponent 1-0. I am proud of them for playing the game that I have coached them. They lost to this team 5-0 last year, so at least there is improvement. Their opposing team played kick-ball while my team consistently made attempts at playing a more sophisticated passing game. They were successful with connecting pass after pass, but were unlucky with the shots. I'm proud of them. They played with heart from minute 1 to 60.
Tiff got mostly A's and B's for her 2ND quarter grades. JB, same thing, but got E's for his citizenship because he's such a pleasant, wanting to please kid. Mia... ai... she's like a new student everyday at daycare. She cries like it's her first day, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. lately. Her teacher says she quits the second I walk out the door, but it doesn't make it any easier to leave her. John MAY or MAY NOT be promoted 08FEB09. ANG is still working out the details, but we will be scheduling a weekend of fun and relaxation for the fam' if it's a go. Team Camacho deserves some RandR, sunuvagun.
Sad news. The stinky thieves took my camera. I am "moment capture" disabled for the time being. I hope to solve that ASAP, but if not... *sigh*.
Love you all,
Familian Camacho

Random News
Mom
1. I have lost 3 pounds in one week from stress alone.
2. I dyed my hair Friday and now my scalp is one big scab from an allergic reaction, and every gland in my head and neck is swollen.
3. I picked my team captains for my middleschool girls' soccer team.
Dad
1. Smoke Free for over 2 months.
2. Next month we will have a hotel stay at the location of an ANG promotional/awards ceremony to celebrate his moving up a rank.
3. HE has decided to make our home junk food free. We have been snacking healthfully since his declaration and I actually lost weight over a weekend instead of gained. Woot!
Tiff
1. She lost her Christmas weight gain.
2. She got an 82% on the paper she's been working on for the past week. She celebrated with going to my middleschool girls' practice to show them how it's done, and some pad thai spice level #2.
3. We have a plan for her college education.
JB
1. The kid that I had a meeting with the principal about, who was playing much too intensely with him, has not been trouble for JB.
2. He has gained a whole 3 pounds and his baby sister is that much further than bypassing him at almost 3 years old.
3. He is the smartest kid in his class and I plan on putting him a school that will challenge him AND keep him safe next school year. I give up on GPSS.
Mia
1. She has enough hair to put into a tiny, cute barrette.
2. She didn't hit or shove anyone upon entering daycare today.
3. She will be 3 next month and at the acceptable age to put her into dance classes. Look out American Idol!
Love you all. I hope you are finding things to be thankful for at the start of this new year.

I'll make this...
...if you fly the 5 of us to your house for the summer. Everyday if you want. I know you miss gooooood chicken kelaguen.
We're ok. Coaching is kicking my butt. Work is kicking John's butt, school's kicking Tiff's butt, the playground equipment at school is kicking JB's butt, and Mia is kicking all of our butts.
Love you,
Team Camacho

Be Careful What You Wish For
When I said that I hoped that her ex-husband "got his due" I did NOT mean for him to leave this world. I did not.

Well, Happy Fricken' New Year to US...
A bunch of little shits broke into our home, ransacked it, took JB's electronics, and Tiff's school bag. We called the police. I told them that I don't care about the stuff. I wanted them to take note that they broke into our home in broad fucking daylight. I want more patrols through our 'hood, and I want it now.
I'm pissed off. I'm telling Dad.

Well, Shoot...
Remember how in my last post that I said that bullets that people shot into the air would eventually come down on some unsuspecting reveler? Check this business out! This is why we stay indoors. I hope your celebration wasn't nearly as dangerous as this poor little girl's was. Geeze!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
It's midnight. the cannons are blasting, the gunshots are ringing (the bullets will eventually land on a poor unsuspecting reveler), and the drunken locals are yelling "Happy New Ears!!".Not a biggie here. I'm just glad the holidays are over.
Love you guys. Have a safe and fun filled celebration on your end.
Love,
Team Camacho
