Boo Boos and Yum Yums.

My accidental plants. I found bulbs in the yard, planted them, and they turned out to be Birds of Paradise!
JB showing is B-Ball skills. Shirtless again... What's up with that?!
Mia's a rough sleeper. Napping can get dangerous with her.
The Camacho girls re-united! Let the photo sessions begin.
As you can see, Tiffany is back at home and the three of them are still very much in love with each other. I'll tell you how long that lasts. It's wonderful to have her again and she's come home with a whole new outlook on school, and life. She's very motivated about getting into college and making the most of herself. I'm so grateful to Mom and Papa Mike for all they have done with her. They've proven to her that I don't just talk out of my butt, haha! JB is doing great in 1st grade. He says school, his classmates, and his teacher make him very happy. He still tells me that he has chicken and rice for lunch everyday, but he doesn't complain. Mia just had 5 shots at her 18 month checkup. She told the nurse, "noooo, owie!" over and over... so sad! She's still skinny and tall, like her sissy and brother, and very healthy. Poor John's car has a boo boo. While driving to Andersen Friday down the long, dark back road, he hit a tire that was sitting in the middle of it. Thank goodness is wasn't a drunkard, as that seems to be in the news quite a bit lately. Just this last week, we had two auto pedestrian accidents. The biggest issue with these types of accidents is that they have happened in areas where it's pitch black because GPA shut off the lights due to Gov Guam's inability to pay their power bills. Too bad we can't sue them. Anyway, as for me, I'm on a healthy living kick. Tonight I made Japanese meatballs, chili, and spaghetti with ground turkey for next week's dinners. Since John's experience with elevated blood pressure landing him in medical, I've been changing my cooking habits to help him stay healthy. Love and miss you guys, as always.

Tadaaaaaa!

Before...
After!
Tiff's new room, so far.
Ok, I was a little off on the curtain color... easy fix for later.
We so happy that Tiff's coming home tomorrow!
Mama Mia! Don't let that cute face fool you. She'll take you out.
We are finally done with the big stuff in Tiff's room. We are still trying to find the bed she wants, but luckily, we saved the upper bunk mattress for her to sleep on until we do. We're going up to Andersen to see if they have it. I'll add more pics as we set the room up, but I think it's going to be really nice. I'm so proud of John. He did that all by himself, with a little help from his assistants and his foreman, Me! I was very helpful with pointing out spots that he missed. I was fired pretty early on... Love ya!

Mini Reunion

What a beautiful picture.
Mom should have her own fishing show. That's ugly, but I bet Mom made it taste delish!
Who are these jungle folks? Love the toned arms, Bal. Is that from the fishing?
Future CSI Agents can be silly too.
Fun in Gramma and Papa Mike's Garage. Dig the beard, Papa Mike! Man, I miss Mom's cooking. Who's that skinny guy to Papa Mike's right?!
Bud buddies! My favorite sister and brother.

One day, we'll have the full family reunion. I can't wait to bring the rest of the family out to visit. JB is just dying to get out there, and Mia would have a great time just running free in the woods. She's pretty wild so she'll feel right at home with the forrest animals, ha! John's excited about the fishing and the golfing George is going to show him. From the picture I saw of George playing, it looks like he's going to show John how to kill gophers, hee hee!
Love you guys! Thanks for the pictures, George.

Finally! I got pictures!

Team Hokanson! I miss these two guys.
I miss the overnights. I miss teasing Dad behind his back and making him say, "what? what?". I miss someone from my team at the holiday gatherings. I miss watching these two take care of each other. George, you're a loving Daddy. I wish you could have more time with your awesome son.

I miss my sister.

We should be near each other right now, especially with her getting settled into a great relationship. I'd love to see her have a couple children to play with mine, and I'd like for John and Gary to do "Man Things" together. I miss her so much these days.

TGIF!

Mia making pretty.
JB chilling. No shirt required for this!
It's Friday, thank goodness! It's been a long week. We've got the room painted. We'll likely get the floor paint this weekend and check out beds. John did a really good job, with his little assitants, of course. He's so proud of it. I'm really happy with how the color turned out. It's very "Tiffany". Next will be JB's room. We're such "DIYer's" now!
JB's last day of camp is today. We've really enjoyed it and I like the people who run it. Dina, the owner, is very down to earth and treats the kids like her own. It probably just comes naturally since all 4 of her kids are at the camp with her!
JB starts 1st grade on the 14th. I think I'll be letting him ride the bus to school to help save gas. I need to let him be a big boy at some point. Besides, I can keep an eye on him with the bus stop being right outside my door.
Mia is growing so fast. She has graduated from the highchair to the big kids' table at daycare. She loves sitting there with her little feet dangling like a big girl. So cute! I hope I can get that "Big Girl" daycare rate soon too. Sheesh! It's an arm and a leg for that place.
