Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday, Papa Mike! We all wish you could be here, or us there with you. You're in our thoughts daily.

Poor Mom.

She's got this monkey on her back. Mia just climbed right up on Gramma's back and went right to sleep.
There'll all over the place! Poor Gramma's being attacked by monkeys. That's what she gets for feeding them so well.

Yuuuummmm...

Mom found a little piece of Heaven in Barrigada called Bemyore Market. That's where she found this tasty treat,

Sea Cucumbers. Yuuuummm... she was so excited!
Slurp! Delish'!
'Tis the season. John and Tiff picked these from a tree next to Apra Minimart.
John wanted me to show off his pickling skills. He did this all by himself.

Gramma is here!

We have been sick in this house so it took a while to get motivated about taking pictures, but here is what Mom's brand spanking new camera has so far.

Mia and Gramma having a loving moment the night of her arrival. That's my rumpled tshirt, not my gut, k?Three generations of Palau Power. The three of us on our way to Tiff's Senior Banquet.
Tiff and Gramma. George, notice the resemblance?
Tiff loves Gramma's camera and took this fancy picture of her Senior Banquet program. Looky! It's her name, and she even has the grades to back it up. Woo hoo!

We are enjoying Gramma's visit. Her and Mia having been spending a lot of time together eating apples and watching cartoons. Mia is learning to speak Palauan from Gramma. She has recently learned Uncle George's favorite word. I will try to capture this word on Gramma's lovely new camera (trying to figure it out before Tiff's big day!) for all of you to enjoy.

Since her arrival, we have learned that John really does have high blood pressure, and food can taste good even if it doesn't have meat in it! Mom's had a couple reunions with and old friend, and a cashier from one of the minimarts she shopped at. It's a social event running around with Gramma! I need to comb my hair and wear tshirts with fewer stains when I run around with her.

Seeing her makes me miss you all!

Bala, it was so nice talking to you and Joseph. I wish I could watch Joseph on his big day. Please tell him we are with him in his own heart, ok? Don't forget to send me pictures of the event!!!

More to come. We have a KFC commercial filming this afternoon and Gramma and the little ones get to eat some deep fried yums for free (I'll remind Mom not to eat the skin, k?). If they end up in the commercial, I'll hopefully be able to send you a copy.

Love to all,

Team Camacho + Gramma
