Ouch!

Mia busted her mouth. I don't know why this is underlined, but ignore that. I got some free nylon socks from NEX. She wanted to wear them, so we put them on her and let her have at it. She was slipping around, fighting with couch cushions to "make a house", and she ended up falling, landing her gorgeous smile onto the livingroom coffee table. Her teeth got pushed up into her gums causing some trauma to them, but they weren't loose at all. Lips were bumped causing swelling and a little tiny bit of cutting, but not too bad. The most damage was to the gums.

They looked their worst for the week following with lips too swollen to properly close her mouth. Her gums were double in size, and her lips had little blisters all over. We cleaned her mouth nightly with a water and peroxide solution as it bled a little constantly. That kept it from getting infected. Her mouth looks just fine now, but we are on the look out for nerve damage that might cause the teeth to fall out. We're thankful she didn't fall and crack her head, so we're not totally freaking out. They can make you fake teeth.
