Random Photos!

JB is tough, for real. Told him not to smile because it's not tough looking to have 3 cute dimples and two big chicklets.
Yay for Skype! The kids video chatting.

Christmas Day Pics by the Tree (tradition)!

Christmas day moved pretty smoothly this year. We were missing a couple grandkids in the picture, and as usual, wishing we were closer to the rest of the family. The kids got neat things to play with, and the adults too. The traditional waffle breakfast was awesome, but a tasty addition to this year's meal was REAL coffee! No coffee in tea bags, but perk stuff. Dee brought her coffee maker, and Gramma Sue had some yummy coffee. I had me 3 cups, but it didn't penetrate the allergy medication fog I was in. Great stuff.

We spent the rest of the day at home. I slept off the medication and felt great by the evening. I put a ham and some scalloped potatoes in the oven for dinner, which didn't turn out too bad. I need to work on the ham part, but we do have tons of leftovers for "hammer sammiches" and fried rice.

Another great Christmas with the family, and almost another year under our belts.

Merry Christmas from us to you!

Santa just happened to be chillin' at the NEX food court. The little ones were feeling pretty sociable and hopped right up on his lap for a photo. I promise I fixed Mia's hair before we left the house. She was especially impressed with him when he gave her some candy.

We hope you all have a great time Christmas Day with your family and friends. Wish we could all be together.

Love,
Team Camacho

Foto Friday (and another Mia boo boo)!

Last Sunday we had our last beach soccer game, which was also the last game of the year. We had our annual year end pot-luck, so I brought the little ones who wore themselves out mucking up the contractors' hard work by relocating the sand from the sand pitch to other places where they don't belong. They passed out on the couch not long after getting home just like this.
The whole thing about bad things happening in 3's is apparently true. After busting up her mouth, Mia then had the flu super bad, which ended with an earache, then last night baby-girl busted open her head. She went looking for me in my room where it was dark expecting me to be there. When she realized I wasn't there, she freaked out that she was alone in the dark, turned, and then was sprinting out the door when she tripped and fell, hitting her head on the corner of the doorjamb. My poor baby has had a tough month. She doesn't get sick or hurt often, but boy when it happens, it's epic.

This is a closeup of the damage. She's just fine, but for the cut, thank goodness. We're chasing after her constantly telling her to be careful, don't run, don't jump, don't breathe, and don't move. I need me some bubble wrap to wrap her up in to keep her safe.

Undefeated, and the reason I'm on the Masters Team!

My Masters team finished the Beach Soccer Season undefeated with the least goals scored again. Guess who the keeper was... yooo hoooo! It was me. I did pretty good, but it helped that the ball got stuck in the sand a lot, and the goal is a lot smaller than the standard 11 a side one.
I bought my first $10 reading glasses after months of denial. It's so nice to be able to read without having to hold things at arm's length, but it's just one more thing falling away to my old age.
